Community Projects
As a small business, we are passionate about giving back to our local community in any way that we can! From the ticket cost, to hair, makeup and a dress, we know that being able to attend a special event like a school formal can get expensive quite quickly. We hate that sometimes that means students missing out on attending their senior celebrations because they don't have an outfit.
For this reason, we make an effort when we can to donate dresses to Brisbane based non-profit organisations like Formally Ever After, and Suited to Success. These amazing programs make it possible for those facing hardships to look and feel beautiful at their special events. If you're looking to give your formal clothing and accessories a second life, we'd strongly encourage finding your closest donation drop-off location.
Formally Ever After
This program was founded by Tammy Robinson in 2019, and provides free, pre-loved formal wear and accessories to the local community. In the past 3 years Tammy has dressed over 117 students from 100+ schools!
If you'd like to donate your pre-loved formal items, she collects evening gowns and bridesmaid dresses, as well as costume jewellery, hair accessories, clutches and heels.
Suited to Success
Suited to Success curates a collection of pre-loved casual, work and formal clothing for those in need.
Their clients can utilise their service for purposes including (but not limited to): job interviews, tertiary education placement, legal appearaces, gender affirmation as well as important life events such as funerals, graduations, and job networking events.
